A few steps are required in order to access your email account from an Apple mobile device such as an iPhone or iPad. You can view a video guide of these steps here.



1. Install the following apps from the Apple App Store:


Microsoft Authenticator

Microsoft Outlook

Microsoft SharePoint


Important: Please ensure that all of these apps are installed before continuing. For each app, 'Allow' notifications when prompted

 

2. Open the Outlook App and Choose 'Add Account'


 

3. Input your username and choose 'Continue'




4. Now input your password and choose 'Sign In

5.You will be prompted to open the Microsoft Authenticator app. Click the button and continue the sign in process.



 On the next screen, click 'Pair your account to the app by clicking this link'

Ensure that notifications are enabled for the Authenticator app. You will be prompted to enter a code to confirm that Authenticator is working.


You will also be asked to enter a mobile number or personal email address. This will be helpful in the event that you get locked out of your account.


6. Once successfully authenticated you will receive this message. Click 'OK'


Your device will now be configured with a policy that will protect the data stored in Outlook

7. On the next 'Add another account' screen Select 'Maybe Later' to continue


8. If you do not already have a PIN set on your device you will receive the following message. Please add a secure PIN to your device to protect your information.
9. Please open the Microsoft SharePoint app and ensure that it is logged in with your new account.

Congratulations your device is successfully configured.
