If Pupils are working on a Document that they would like to print, they will need to Share it with their Teacher. Once they've inputted the e-mail once it will save it for next time.

To Share they will need to:


Click the "Share" button: Located in the top right corner of the Google Doc.

  • Enter the teacher's email address: In the "Add people or groups" field, type your teacher's full email address.
  • Set permissions to "Editor" or "Commenter":
    • Editor: Allows the teacher to make changes directly to the document. This is usually preferred for feedback and collaboration.
    • Commenter: Allows the teacher to add comments without directly editing the text.
  • Add an optional message: Type a brief message to your teacher (e.g., "Here's my essay on..." or "Please Print.").
  • Click "Send" or "Share": This will send an email notification to your teacher with a link to the document.
